About the instructor

Risa

Before I began teaching, I experienced firsthand how a sedentary lifestyle can impact our well-being. Spending long hours sitting at a desk left me feeling increasingly weak and susceptible to illness. Frequent colds, a constantly stuffy nose, and the constant worry about my health took a toll on my overall quality of life.

That’s when I discovered the transformative power of yoga. Morning practices became my sacred time for self-care, gradually strengthening my body and improving my overall sense of ease. As my practice deepened, I noticed a significant improvement in my immune system. Colds became less frequent, and I was finally able to say goodbye to year-round allergy medications.

While I still experience some sensitivity to the cold, my hands and feet now stay warm for much longer. I understand the discomfort of feeling unwell, both physically and mentally. I believe that when the body is out of balance, the mind follows, and vice versa.

I invite you to join me on the mat, where we can explore the profound connection between mind and body through gentle movement and breathwork. Together, let’s cultivate strength, resilience, and a renewed sense of well-being.
