About the instructor
Risa
When I started to work sitting all day about 5 years ago, my body became weaker and weaker and I began to suffer from cold. I started to catch colds easily, and it was difficult to spend time constantly worrying about my cold, nose, and throat. At that time, I started practicing yoga in the mornings and began to have time for myself, and little by little my body became stronger and easier to live with. As I continued to practice yoga, my immune system became stronger, and now I only catch a cold a few times a year, and I was able to give up the rhinitis medication I used to take all year round.
I am still sensitive to the cold, but my hands and feet are warm longer than before. I hope that those who are suffering from the uncomfortable feeling of coldness or have some small discomfort like I used to have come to the class and feel easier and relaxed by feeling their body and breathing.
When the body is unwell, the mind is also unwell. When the mind is out of sorts, the body tends to be out of sorts as well. The mind and body are connected. Let’s practice yoga together to keep your mind and body in good shape.
