The uncomfortable feeling of coldness is a source of various diseases

Cold can take its toll both physically and mentally. Try to warm up not only from the outside but also from the inside.

Not only your body but also your mind

When the body gets cold, the mind tends to become stiff as well. When your body shrinks, you tend to feel depressed.

That back pain and stiff shoulders may also be caused by cold

If the pain is relieved by taking a bath or otherwise warming up the area, then cold may be the cause.

Muscles stiffen when cold

When your muscles are stiff, you cannot move smoothly. Every single movement feels difficult.

Immunity decreases 30% when body temperature drops 1 degree Celsius

It is hard to catch a cold and cancel plans you were looking forward to, and it is also hard on your energy.

Worrying about cold is stressful

Feeling cold is stressful, and that stress creates cold and leads to a vicious cycle.

Causes swelling of the feet and face

Poor lymphatic fluid flow due to poor circulation causes partial fluid accumulation.

Warm your body and mind with yoga

There are various causes of cold, such as muscle weakness and autonomic nervous system disorders, but the warming yoga class is effective because it approaches the problem from multiple directions.

Elements of our thermal wellness yoga class

  • Promotes lymph flow and approaches swelling and stiffness that cause blood flow deterioration
  • Building a body that can produce heat under its own power by strengthening muscles
  • Relax and regulate the autonomic nervous system to promote blood flow to the extremities.

Check below when you take the class for the first time.

How to

The door will open 20 minutes before the class starts. Once you’ve taken off your shoes and put down your belongings, you’ll have the opportunity to calm down on your mat, breathe, and stretch freely until class begins. Every class is one hour.

What you need

  • light-weight stretchy clothing(We have a small space to change clothes if you want to at the studio )
  • yoga mat(or use one of our mats. If you want to use ours, select ‘borrow’ when you make a reservation. If you use our mat kindly make a reservation 2 hours before the class starts.)
  • water

About mat

We recommend having your mat to enhance your comfort during the class, to maintain consistency in your practice, and to ensure you are not sharing sweats, germs, or odors. However, feel free to use our mats. You can use one of our mats when you want to go bulk shopping after the class or when you are afraid of falling while carrying your yoga mat.

About clothes

We recommend wearing lightweight stretchy clothing. You can wear whatever clothes you feel comfortable in such as jersey pants, leggings, sweat, or short pants. Or you can wear clothes that are hibernating in your closet.
